Your road to success

Left or right, you will ensure that the IT landscape of Athlon is running in a safe manner, eliminating threats by being a head of risks and vulnerabilities.  Our team is responsible for the information security risks are managed to the best interest of Athlon and our customers, keeping an eye on the cost – rewards ratios. You can do this as an information security officer with full focus on:
 

• being the cyber security expert.
• ensuring the safety of our business applications (threat modeling).
• being the ambassador for cyber security among Athlon colleagues.
• performing information security assessments, reviews and audits.
• following technology developments to keep up to date and apply in your work.

What do you take with you as information security officer for at least 38 of hours per week? Absolutely your good analytical and problem solving skills. You also have the drive to collaborate and coordinate tasks. In addition, you have:

• a bachelor’s degree or sufficient relevant experience to compensate.
• interest in infrastructure security, application security, threat modelling.
• CISSP certificate (is an advantage - but we can also support you gaining it).
• passion for creating awareness and engaging your colleagues in cyber security.
• advanced English skills, with the ability to read Dutch documents passively.

In addition to building an (international) career, as an information security officer, based on 38 hours per week, you can count on a:

• gross yearly salary up to € 74.000,- (including holiday allowance and 13th month).
• employee budget of € 555,- gross per month (this is used, for example, for a mobility scheme, extra salary, extra leave days or pension investment).
• excellent pension scheme.
• potential bonus up to 10% of your annual salary including holiday allowance and 13th month (the bonus is 100% based on Mercedes-Benz company results).
• thirteenth month.
• holiday allowance of 8% and at least 26 vacation days.
• 12-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
